OSHUN

Oshun is an Orisha who reigns over love, intimacy, beauty, wealth and diplomacy.  She is beneficent, generous, very kind, but has a horrific temper  When she loses her temper, it causes untold destruction.  this statue depicts Oshun holding a mirror with a pretty green parrot on her shoulder.  Made of cold cast resin, it measures 9 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches wide, 3 inches deep, and the base is lined with felt to prevent it from scratching delicate surfaces.  The beautiful bronzed finish is highlighted by hand painted accents that emphasize the detail int this piece, from the feather in Oshun's hair to her golden hoop earrings.  It makes a lovely gift for a friend, and is sure to be admired.
